Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure steady electrical connection and facilitate assembly work by a method wherein multicore sheet wire is wound in two layers to form a clindrical coil on whose edges metal pieces serving as commutators connecting wire element end surfaces facing vis-a -vis. CONSTITUTION:Multicore sheet wire is spirally wound to form an inner cylinder 3 on which an outer cylinder 4 made of the same material is formed with its spiral pattern running askew to that of the inner cylinder 3. The cylindrical winding is then cut into a specified length to form a coil 6. A metal piece 14 is placed across an inner cylinder wire 1 end surface and an outer cylinder wire 1 end surface and is welded to them, for instance, by laser. The metal piece 14 acts also as a commutator bar on which a brush 13 slides. By this, as many commutator bars are easily shaped as the number of metal pieces 14 used.
