Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a ventilator contributing to energy saving by a method wherein there are provided nonreturn valves both on a ventilator body and on a vent hole under the floor to pass air from under the floor toward the garret only.
CONSTITUTION: On four sides of the ventilator body there are provided vent holes 6, a central room 3 and small rooms 5 are formed inside by partition plates 2, on each partition plae 2 there is provided a window 4 and a nonreturn valve 7 to the small room 5 side and a damper 8 is equipped on the opening of the bottom part of the central room 3. The body is equipped on a ridge-pole 21. The vent holes 6 are connected by pipes 20 with ducts 12, 13 under the roof and there are provided vent holes 14, 17 on the front edges of the ducts 12, 13. The lower ends of air ducts 19 in walls the upper ends of which are connected with each other in the garret are connected with each other under the floor. On the vent holes 18 under the floor there are provided nonreturn valves 23 under the floor and air is supplied only under the floor. Under the floor air is forced in the space 25 under the floor by means of the windward pressure, the nonreturn valve 23 operates under the lee, the air rises along the caving 19 of the wall and the air pressure in the space 22 under the garret is increased.
