Abstract
PURPOSE:To automize alignment correction, by determining the amount of correction through the detection of phase difference between a video signal and another video signal in other channel, when a focus current of the channel to be corrected is changed to a positive and negative amount. CONSTITUTION:A red focus current is changed to a positive amount, red and green video signals are selected at a multiplexer 21, and the phase difference of horizontal/vertical reference parts of the video signals is detected at a phase difference detector 22. This is made for the negative amount also. The detected outputs are applied to a microprocessor 24 via an analog digital converter 23 to calculate the amount of horizontal/vertical alignment shift. The calculated corrective amount is outputted to vertical/horizontal alignment current control circuits 17, 18 via an analog digital converter 25. When the amount reaches a permissible value, the focus current is restored to an original value at a focus current control circuit 20 through the instruction of the processor 24. Thus, the automation can be made possible without manual handling.
