Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to effectively transport a liquid or a vapor by a method wherein a bundled assembly of plural kinds of pipes of different diameters is provided at a heat-insulating part of a heat pipe to constitute passages for a working liquid and the vapor thereof.
CONSTITUTION: Pipes 3 of intermediate diameters are placed around a pipe 2 of a large diameter as a center, and pipes 4 of small diameters are placed around the pipes 3 to constitute the bundled pipe assembly. The bundled pipe assembly is placed in a middle part n of the heat pipe 1 to constitute the heat-insulating part of the heat pipe. In this constitution, the vapor is passed through the pipes 2, 3 of larger diameters and the gaps therebetween, while the working liquid is passed through the pipes 4 of small diameters and the gaps therebetween. Accordingly, an excellent capillary action is obtained, the resistance against the flow of the fluids is reduced and the recirculating efficiency of the working liquid is enhanced.
