CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 19 with a conical part 18 on its end, cylinder 22 having a conical part 20, and cylinder 24 having a conical part 23 are idly engaged on a straight standard guide shaft 17 of good linearity and circularity of the periphery, where each cylinder is engaged movablly to the axial direction. A plurality of groups of balls 25, 26 are provided in V-shaped peripheral grooves which is formed of conical parts on the ends by facing the cylinders 19, 22, 24 along the peripheral direction of the peripheral grooves 46, 47, which balls are held with retainers 27, 28 to prevent the balls from disengaging. Thus, the center axis of a picture tube can be coincided with the optical axis accurately, and characteristics of a picture tube can be improved and stabilized.
