Abstract

PURPOSE:To weld the inner surface of a sleeve and the end of a plastic pipe for the sake of convenience of water flow by a method wherein a heating fixture is forced into the inner side of the sleeve to soften it and a bur correcting fixture is forced into it to crush and contract the burs and then the end part of a plstic pipe having a softened outer surface is forced into the corrected sleeve. CONSTITUTION:One side of the sleeve S and the end part P of the pipe are forced respectively onto the cone part 11 of a heating fixture 1 and into the pipe part of said fixture 1 and heated and softened. In this case, burs a are formed on the stopper T in the middle of the inner surface of the sleeve S. After the sleaves S and the pipe P are cut off from the fixture 1, a bur correcting fixture 2 having an outer diameter nearly equal to the inner diameter of the stopper T of the sleeve S is inserted from the opposite side of the sleeve S and the burs a are contracted and reduced to the dimension equal to the inner diameter of the stopper. Then, as the bur correcting ficture 2 is inserted into the sleeve S, the end part P0 of the pipe P is inserted into one side of the sleeve S and they are welded with each other. Then the bur correcting fixture 2 is removed.
