Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:A 2-hydroxyoxanilic acid derivative shown by the formulaI(R1 is H, lower alkyl; R2 is H or lower alkoxy; R3 is H, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, etc.) and its salt.
EXAMPLE: Ethyl-5-acetamide-2-hydroxyoxanilate shown by the formula IV.
USE: An antiallergic, antiashmatic, antirheumatic, carcinostatic agent, remedy for autoimmune disease, and inhibitor for rejection in organ or skin implantation. Especially having enhancing action on delay allergy, and enhancing action on cellular immunity.
PROCESS: An aminophenols shown by the formula II is reacted with an oxyalyl halide shown by the formula III (X is halogen) in a solvent (e.g., benzene) in the presence of a base (e.g., pyridine) to give the desired compound shown by the formulaI.
