Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a stabilized power-saving flywheel suffering from only a small loss in such a way that attractive rings and an electromagnet are provided in a flywheel supported by such type of magnetic bearing as holding the rotary part without contact, which is applied for attitude control, etc. of a artificial satellites. CONSTITUTION:A disc rotor 11 which is made of high magnetic permeable material is integrated by means of incorporatively forming attractive rings 12, 13 which respectively provide at least one each of protruded sectional part 14, 15 at the outer peripheral part and the inner circumferential part, and an attractive ring 17 on the static side is installed on the inner circumference of the protruded sectional part 14 of the attractive ring 12 keeping a proper clearance between them. This ring 17 is attracted to a permanent magnet 19, and the permanent magnet 19 is attracted to an electromagnet 21 which provides a protruding sectional part 20 facing to said section part 15 on its inner circumference. This electromagnet 21 is formed in the axial symmetrical shape with respect to a rotary central shaft 18, a plural number of this magnet are installed around the shaft 18. The rotor 11 is turned by means of action given by a motor roller 29 and a motor stator 30.
