Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to close a heat pipe efficiently by a simple operation and reduce the number of assembling steps by a method wherein the ends of a heat pipe main body are closed by pressing a closing member into each of the ends.
CONSTITUTION: An insulating plate 10 is adhered to each of two flat surfaces 27, 28 of the heat pipe main body 24, and heating elements 6 such as semiconductor elements are fitted to the insulating plates 10 by set-screws 31. Both ends of the main body 24 are closed by pressing the closing member 36 made of copper, aluminum or the like into each of the ends. Accordingly, the ends can be closed at a high efficiency by a simple operation, enabling to contrive a reduction in the cost of the heat pipe.
