CONSTITUTION:If a picture base 1 stops in a fixation device, a detector confirming the normal movement of the base 1 sends a fault occurrence signal to a control part. The control part instructs a cam shaft 8 to turn by 180 degrees, and a cam 7 separates a ontact heating part 2 from the base 1 to make each heater holds safety temperature; and a cooling device 10 operates to cool the base 1. When the base 1 returns to a normally movable state, the cooling device 10 is turned off by a control signal and the heating part returns to its original position. As fixation is held in readiness, the base 1 starts moving normally.
