Abstract
PURPOSE: To suppress the occurrence of chipping of powder moldings owing to vibration and impact and to obtain sintered parts of high reliability by placing the powder moldings from a press as they are on a sintering tray and carrying these into a sintering furnace.
CONSTITUTION: Mixed powders of raw materials are formed into powder moldings 6 of a prescribed shaped by pressurizing with a press 1, and are taken out onto a die table 2. Thence, they are moved toward a chute 8 by the table 2, are glided on the chute 8 and are placed onto a sintering tray 7 made of ceramics. The tray 7 placed with prescribed pieces of the moldings 6 is carried on a meshed belt 12, and is moved into a sintering furace 10, where the moldings 6 are sintered to sintered bodies. According to this method, the moldings 6 are conveyed without degrading quality, and the sintered parts with high product value are obtained.
