Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent cooling molds from being cooled excessively in a cooling step during the foam molding, by automatically changing the air pressures for delivering cooling water so as to control the flow rate of the cooling water according to the detected water temperature. CONSTITUTION:The foaming molds comprises a core mold 10 and a cavity mold 20 for producing a component 90 from a material delivered from a material feeder 80. In the cooling step, cooling water is jetted from cooling water pipings 13, 23 in prescribed amounts. However, since the cooling water is recovered into a pool or the like, and is used again, the temperature thereof tends to rise gradually. The water temperature is detected by a temperature sensor 60 to open any one of magnet valves 101, 102, 103, 201, 202, 203 through a control panel 70 so that air pressure is applied to tanks 100, 200 to jet cooling water. As the predetermined pressures set by pressure adjusting valves 111, 112, 113, 211, 212, 213 are in three steps respectively, the amounts of cooling water to be introduced can be changed in three steps.
