Abstract

PURPOSE:To lower current consumption and facilitate controlling by connecting plural pieces of LEDs of single color light conforming to the spectral sensitivity characteristics of a photoreceptor in series, and arranging these on a substrate in such a manner that they irradiate the photoreceptor linearly when emitting light thereby constituting a destaticizer. CONSTITUTION:LEDs 21 are arrayed and mounted linearly by leaving suitable intervals in a longitudinal direction on a printed substrate 20 of a rectangular strip shape having a socket part 20a for connect in one end part. A photocoupler 22 for monitoring is mounted near the part 20a, and this is disposed in parallel to a photoreceptor by maintaining a prescribed distance thereto so that at the time when the respective LEDs 21 emit light they irradiate the photoreceptor linearly.
