Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an optional illuminance distribution and to easily change a number of light source units, by supporting the light source units slidably, fixing them, and separately controlling luminance of each unit. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of light source units 5 consisting of light sources 7 and reflective mirrors 8 for illuminating an original face 6; a plurality of sliding means 13 having a function for fixing the units 5 and sliding them in the longitudinal direction of slits, and a function for rotating them on the surface in the original scanning direction; and a controller for adjusting each of the units 5 separately are installed. The controller has a light adjusting circuit 16, a circuit 17 for no lighting of the units 5, an illuminance distribution control circuit 18, a sequential control circuit 19, and a power supply branch circuit 15. An optional illuminance distribution can be obtained on the original surface by changing the position and posture of the sliding means 13 and the illuminance of the units 5.
