Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid an echo phenomenon and to reduce remarkable deterioration of voice quality, by gradually shorting the delay time based on a detection signal from the point of time when a voice signal is applied. CONSTITUTION:When a voice is applied to a microphone 2, it is detected at a voice detection circuit 8, a switch circuit 5 is closed and a voice signal is applied to a speaker 7. Thus, a modulation signal generating circuit 10 is driven with a detection signal and the level of the modulation signal is lowered. Thus, a clock generating circuit 9 is controlled, the frequency of a clock pulse is gradually increased and the delay time of the delay circuit 4 is gradually reduced.
