Abstract

PURPOSE: To make a printing of fixed concentration without using an ink ribbon and to make possible a multicolor printing by a method wherein magnetic solid ink is attached magnetically onto printing paper and an impact part is transferred by an impact means.
CONSTITUTION: Solid inks 11, 13 in the granular, crystal or powdery form showing N-polarity and the opposite S-polarity on the surface of a rotative metallic platen 1 are stuck by a selectswitch 9 selectively to printing paper 2 to form a double color solid ink film 2B. Electric current is supplied to a solenoid 8 corresponding to a print wire 7 necessary to form characters to impact a solid ink film 22B and the solid ink 11 or 13 on the impact zone is transferred onto the printing paper 2. The solid inks 11, 13 on non-transferred parts are absorbed and removed by a cleaning device 21.
