Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the titled binder which gives efficient energy absorption when a material, which is to be molded and is composed of a ferrite material, water and said binder is molded by extrusion and the extrudate is dried by specified radiation.
CONSTITUTION: Water and at least one binder selected from PVA, methyl cellulose, CMC, starch, dextrin and saccharide, are blended with a ferrite material. The mixture is molded by extrusion and the extrudatae is dried by using radiation in which principal spectral energy distribution is 3μm or more.
EFFECT: Because the wavelength of the radiation is long, the radiation can be penetrated into the inside of the molded article, and thick-walled molded articles can uniformly be dried without cracking.
