Abstract

PURPOSE: A coating composition having the lowest coat-formable temp. lowered and capable of forming a coat at a normal to low temp. without deterioration of coat performance, which is prep. by compounding a polyurethane-base emulsion with a specified oxyalkylene glycol deriv.
CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt., based on the solid, polyurethane-base emulsion is compounded with 1W70pts.wt. oxyalkylene glycol deriv. of the formula (wherein A and A' are each a 1W5C hydrocarbon group, a 1W4C acyl group or H, which may be the same of different from each other; R is 2W4C alkylene; n is 1W3), to obtain the titled composition.
EFFECT: A coat with excellent durability such as wear, water and detergent resistance, and adhesion is formed.
USE: An all-purpose coating material usable for all materials such as a plastic for outdoor and indoor floors, a wall, outer wall, etc., wood, stone, ceramics or concrete.
