Abstract
PURPOSE: The titled coating material with excellent adhesion to an adherend suitable for decoration, rust proofing and water proofing, which is prepd. by coating one side of a double side self-adhesive tape with an org. solvent-type liquid paint or powder paint followed by curing or by heating, melting and cooling.
CONSTITUTION: The opposite side of release paper 7 of a double side self-adhesive tape obtd. by coating both sides of substrate 6 such as a non-woven fabric with adhesive 2 such as vinyl acetate and fixing the substrate on the release paper 7 which has been treated to be non-adherent, is coated with org. solvent-type paint 8 primarily composed of a polyester, vinyl chloride, polyurethane resin, etc. or with powder paint 9 primarily composed of a thermoplastic resin such as ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer. The purpase coat material is obtd. by forming coat layer 10 by naturally or themally curing the liquid paint 8 or by heating and melting the powder paint 9.
