Abstract
PURPOSE:A cosmetic for hair that contains a quaternary ammonium salt bearing 16-18C alkyl groups, a quaternary ammonium salt bearing 20-22C alkyl groups and a condensate between polypeptide and plam fatty acid as essential components, thus giving hair smoothness and moistness. CONSTITUTION:The objective sometic for hair contains 0.1-3wt% of a compound of formulaI(R1 is 16-18C alkyl; R2-R4 are 1-3C alkyl, hydroxyalkyl; X is halogen, alkylsulfate), 0.1-3wt% of a compound of formula II (R5 is 20-22C alkyl; R6-R8 are the same as R2-R4) and 0.1-3.0wt% of a compound of formula III (R9 is palm fatty acid, R10 is various residue in aminoacids; M is Na, K, triethanolammonium salt, H; n is 2-6) where the weight ratio ofI/II is 1/3-3/1. The resultant cosmetic gives hair good smoothness and moistness, when it is used in either of a rinsing type and nonrinsing type shampoo.
