Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent electric power from being consumed when necessary operation ends even with a power switch closed by applying an electric generation brake to a motor once the operation of the motor ends and by stopping power feed to a motor control circuit on the braking operation. CONSTITUTION:In the automatic focusing AF mechanism of a camera device, a power switch SW1, mode SWs 2 and 3 are turned on successively, a transistor TRQ1 turns on to feed electricity to a block AF, and a voltage is developed at the terminal PW of an IC2 to turn on a TRQ8, thereby maintaining power feed to the AF. In this state, when AF operation is performed and the number of pulses from contacts A2 and B2 for distance measurement is stored in the IC2, a voltage is developed at a terminal M2 to turn on TRs Q2-Q4, and consequently a motor M is turned normally to move a lens, thereay applying pulses from the contacts A1 and B1 to the IC2. When the number of the pulses becomes coincident with the stored number of pulses, the voltages at the terminals PW and M2 disappear and a voltage is developed at a terminal M2 to turn off the TRs Q2-Q4 while turning off TRs Q5-Q5, thereby stopping the motor by applying an electric generation brake. Further, TRs Q5 and Q1 turn off to stop electricity feed to the AF.
