Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a safe constant-speed drive by limiting the driving speed of a car when the driving speed in setting operation exceeds a prescribed maximum driving speed, by using the maximum driving speed as a target speed. CONSTITUTION:When a set switch 1 is turned on when a car speed is higher than a high-speed limit speed, an FF61 is set and a transistor TR70 is conductive. When the output voltage of a frequency-voltage converting circuit 5 is higher than a voltage equivalent to a high limit speed, a comparator 34 outputs a low-level signal to hold the output of a throttle opening-extent detector 21 at a high level forcibly, thereby keeping a throttle valve 18 open. Then a comparator 44 operates to turn a motor 53 in the fully closed direction of the valve 18, reducing the car speed. When the car speed is lowered down to the high limit speed, the output of the comparator 34 is inverted to a high level; and a TR43 is turned on to flow a momentary current to an energizing coil 42, and a relay contact 20 is made to charge a capacitor 19 up to a voltage equivalent to the current car speed, thereby driving the car at the constant high limit speed.
