Abstract
PURPOSE:To remarkably decrease the invasion of leakage magnetic flux to a tank or the like at the peripheral center of the exterior of a core window approached nearest to the coil by increasing the width of the exterior of the core window of a magnetic clamp larger than that of the interior of the core window and projecting it externally from the outermost diameter of the coil. CONSTITUTION:Annular magnetic clamps 12, 13 mounted between core yokes 2, 3 and coils 6, 7 have width at the exterior of the core window wider than that of the interior of the window, and are projected at the peripheral center of the exterior of the window from the outermost layer of the coils 6, 7 toward a tank 8. Accordingly, it is constructed that the area confronting the coil is increased at the exterior of the core window not covered with the core leg 1 and the yokes 2, 3. Thus, most of leakage magnetic flux flowed from the coils 6, 7 is attracted to the clamps 12, 13 projected from the coils as shown by dotted line indicated by the arrow. Consequently, the invasion of the leakage magnetic flux to the tank in the vicinity of the peripheral center of the exterior of the iron window approached nearest to the coils 6, 7 apprehended by loss concentration or local overheat can be largely decreased.
