Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify a display circuit by detecting a change in state by a state detector common to all words.
CONSTITUTION: A distributor 9 inputs an address signal from an address bus 2 and outputs a readout signal to a display device memories 13-1W13-n specified with said address signal. From the dispaly device memories inputting the readout signal, data signals stored in those memories are inputted to a state detecting circuit 11 via a common signal line 11b. The other input to this circuit 11 is a data signal from a data bus 1, and this data signal is compared with the signal on the signal line 11b; when both the signals coincide with each other, no change in state is made and any operation is not performed. When not, the circuit 11 generates a "1" state change signal and outputs state change data to a signal line 11a.
