Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable to continuously and efficiently carry out reaction when hydrogen is sorbed and released by utilizing reversible heat generating-heat absorbing phenomenon by arranging plural containers containing a hydrogen sorbing material in a ring like form to form a heat generating and a heat absorbing systems.
CONSTITUTION: Reaction containers 7W7"' arranged in a ring like form and an arranged pipe 3' are evacuated to replace an inside of a pipe with hydrogen. A hydrogen gas is introduced into the reaction containers 7, 7' from a bomb 1 and sorbed by hydrogen sorbing meterials 9, 9' therein and the sorbed hydrogen are combined through outlet filters 10, 10' of the containers 7, 7' and flowed to a pipe 8. At the same time, the hydrogen gas is sorbed in sorbing materials 9", 9"' through inlet filters 10", 10"' of the containers 7", 7"'. In this case, heat generation accompanying the hydrogen sorption to the hydrogen gas sorbing materials 9", 9"' is acted on heat absorbing action of the sorbing materials 9, 9' and utilized in releasing hydrogen. By this self-control, high purity hydrogen can be continuously taken out.
