Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a desulfurizing agent reducing pressure loss of an adsorbing tower in an enhanced yield against coal by a method wherein caking coal and noncaking coal are respectively crushed into an appropriate particle size and, after mixing, the obtained mixture is subjected to dry distillation and activated.
CONSTITUTION: Streans 100, 102 of nocaking coal and caking coal are introduced into crushers 1, 3 to be crushed therein and, from the obtained both crushed coals, an appropriate particle size is selected in classifiers 2, 4. Subsequently, the selected particulate coals are sent into a mixer 5 from streams 106, 107 and the coals finely divided by crushing are sent to a boiler from streams 104, 105. The coal mixed in the mixer is supplied to a dry distillation process 6 from a stream 108 and, subsequently, sent to an activating process from a stream 109 to obtain a desulfurizing agent 110. The desulfurizing agent obtained by this method has effect to reduce loss of gas passing pressure of a waste gas in an adsorbing tower.
