Abstract

PURPOSE: To remove dust adhered to a dust collecting electrode for a short time by a method wherein a particulate injection pipe is provided in a dust collector and a particulate is projected to said dust collecting electrode.
CONSTITUTION: A particulate is sent into a dust collector under desired pressure by a compressor or the like. The particulate sent into a transporting pipe under pressure is branched and flowed into each injection pipes 6 and projected to a dust collecting electrode 2 opposed to an injection nozzle 7 and dust adhered to the dust collecting electrode 2 is brushed off by the particulate. By this method, dust can be removed and the dust collecting electrode or the discharge electrode is not damaged as in a wet type electric dust collector and a life of the dust collector itself can be extended.
