Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain treated water deprived of heavy metal ions and impurities and being fresh yo drink and easy to deal with, by a method wherein part of water to be treated can be fed into the void on the inside of a filer, and water treated by an ion exchange resin is re-guided to a position above the upper surface of the resin.

CONSTITUTION: Water to be treated which is introduced through an external feed water supplying pipe is guided to the gap between an inner cylinder 2 and the filter 11, and is filtrated by passing it from the peripheral surface of the filter 11 toward the void on the inside on the filter 11. At this time, the supply of water to a rising hole 21 is controlled by a needle valve 23 screwed into a connecting hole 22, and part of water to be treated is directly introduced to the inside of the filter 11 without passing through the filter 11. Then, the water introduced through the filter 11 is sequentially ejected from the void partitioned by a rising partition flange 3a and a cap 12 into the space between an outer cylinder 1 and the inner cylinder 2 through holes 9d and a gap 9c of a diameter expansion pipe 9. Subsequently, after passing the water through the ion exchange resin 14, it is introduced into the pipe 9, fed into a pipe 13 via the upper-end opening thereof located at a position above the upper surface of the resin 14 and is discharged to the outside of the water clarifier via a discharge hole 27.
