Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify structure by solidly uniting an alkaline metallic reservoir and a sealing section. CONSTITUTION:Alkaline metal is sealed in a case 23 through a pipe 17 and most part of the alkaline metal is absorbed and held by metal nets 18. A needle 22 formed at the tip of the pipe 17 contacts a rapture plate 19 provided at an alkaline vapor guide pipe 20. The plate 19 and the pipe 20 are previously welded to a case 23 by solidly uniting with a collimator 13. The pipe 17 is closed after sealing the alkaline metal to maintain a sealing section 14 at vacuum. In this way, structure is simplified by solidly uniting an alkaline metallic reservoir section and the sealing section.
