Abstract

PURPOSE: To not only drive a screw with a short neck laterally but also drive a screw with a long neck positively by a method wherein a screw supply section is unified with a driver section, the screw is received by means of a catcher while being held horizontally, and the screw is driven while the driver section is advanced.
CONSTITUTION: The screws S supplied from a hopper section 1 are arranged to a chute section 2, separated by means of an escaping section 3 one by one and fed to an attitude changing section 4. The attitude of the screws are altered in the direction that screw sections are made horizontal from oblique attitudes at the section 4, and supplied to the catcher section 5. Then driver section 6 adsorbs the screws S, and drives the screws while advancing.
