Abstract
PURPOSE:The titled reactor, having a vessel containing a metallic hydride compound capable of occluding and releasing H2 and H2 and further a metal incapable of occluding and releasing H2, and capable of improving the thermal conductivity without deteriorating the performance thereof even in repeated use. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of H2 with 100pts.wt. metallic hydride compound 2 capable of occluding and releasing H2, e.g. LaNi5HX, having a particle size of about 100 mesh, and 5-500pts.wt. metallic powder, having a diameter of 30mum-2mm., flake having an area >=0.5cm<2> or fiber 3 incapable of occluding and releasing the H2, e.g. Al or Fe, is contained in a pressure vessel 1, and a filter medium 4 is provided at the opening part of the vessel 1. A Bourdon tube 6 is connected with the vessel 1 through a pressure tube 5.
