Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of a biased stream or a short pass in a laminated body by using a central pipe which is divided into two chambers to an axial direction and has slits provided to each chambers to supply a stock liquid to be treated from the central pipe to a direction perpendicular to the axial direction.
CONSTITUTION: End parts of semipermeable membranes 2, 2' and spacer 5 are inserted into each slits of a central pipe 1 divided into two chambers to form a spiral like laminate body. The semipermeable membranes 2, 2' grasp a water passing material 3 and is sealed by a sealing member 4 and by pressure resistant sealing members 6, 6', a high pressure stock liquid to be treated is prevented from being flowed into a permeate side of the membrane. The stock liquid sent into the central pipe under a high pressure is flowed out of the pipe from the slits and outwardly flowed to a direction perpendicular to an axis of said pipe through the spacer 5 to be removed from the laminate body and a permeate liquid permeating the semipermeable membranes 2, 2' is flowed toward the central pipe 8.
