Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the level for recognition of voice, by charging the frequency characteristics of an electronic apparatus in accordance with the magnitude of a noise having a frequency unnecessary for conversation. CONSTITUTION:Signal components except the voice band are extracted from sounds picked up by a microphone by a filter, and a control voltage Vc corresponding to them is obtained. Meanwhile, the output of the microphone is given to an amplifier OA through a band-pass filter 28. The input of the band-pass filter 28 is so constituted that the output of the microphone is divided by a resistance R1, an FET Q1 operated as a variable resistance, and an LC resonance circuit. If the noise is high, the resistance value of the FET Q1 is controlled to a high value, and as a result, the Q value of the LC resonance circuit is raised, and the characteristics of the band-pass filter 28 has a peak. If the peak frequency is set near the center of the voice frequency band, the articulation is improved, and thus, the apparatus is applied to a hearing aid and a telephone.
