Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a storing conveyor which is simply constituted and can store a workpiece with a fixed pitch through the reciprocating movement of a shuttle bar and with which maintenance is facilitated, by installing the shuttle bar which is installed below the conveying surface of the conveyor and performs reciprocating movement with a prescribed stroke in the direction of transfer.
CONSTITUTION: A storing conveyor is equipped with a horizontal conveyor 21 which transfer works and a shuttle bar 1 which is installed below the horizontal conveyor 20 and performs reciprocating movement in the direction of transfer. Dogs 2 are installed with a fixed work-storing pitch on the upper surface of the shuttle bar 1, and work detecting levers 8 are installed with the same pitch described above at the fixed part of the conveyor etc. The guide bar 10 which holds the dog 2 at a prescribed situation over a fixed range of reciprocation stroke of each dog 2 is installed in the fixed part described above. When a work X is positioned at the position x and the lever 8 is brought down, the dog 2 is tilted frontward by the interference between a pin 9 and the dog 2, and the work Y stops at the position y.
