Abstract

PURPOSE:To stably stack paper even if it has been curled, by providing a paper hold-down member over a paper receiver for housing the paper, on one side of which copying is already finished, so that the hold-down member can be vertically moved and by pushing the top of the paper downward every time one sheet of the paper is housed. CONSTITUTION:Paper 20, on one side of which copying is finished by a photosensitive drum, is stacked and housed on the top of a paper receiver 18 by a conveying roller 16. The housed paper 20 is sent out one by one through the cooperation of an auxiliary sending roller 19, a sending roller 24 and a separating roller 25 starting with the lowest sheet of the paper, so that copying is effected on the outer side. A detector 17 is provided to detect the incoming of the paper 20 brought in by the conveying roller 16. A paper hold-down member 21 is vertically moved by a driving member 22 on the basis of the detection signal of the detector 17 every time one sheet of the paper 20 is housed. The curl of the paper 20 is eliminated by the paper hold-down member 21 to perform stable stacking and housing.
