Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a constant-voltage device of simple constitution which is not influenced by fluctuations of a power voltage by composing an oscillating circuit of an oscillation capacity, a current control type nonlinear resistance element and an inductance IN and by applying a minus bias to the IN.
CONSTITUTION: A commercial low-frequency AC power source 1 is connected to the series circuit of the 1st IN7 and a high-frequency oscillating circuit 8. The circuit 8 is composed of the 2nd IN9, a bidirectional SCR10 as a current control type nonlinear resistance element, an oscillation capacitor C11, and a winding 91 applying a minus bias to the IN9. A low-frequency current flows through the winding 91 and C11 of the circuit 8 to charge the C11 and when the terminal voltage of the C11 exceeds the breakover voltage of the SCR10, the charged voltage of the C11 is discharged via the winding 91, IN9 and SCR10. When the charging current is large, the minus bias to the IN9 increases and when small, the minus bias decreases, so the peak value of the oscillation output voltage is made constant, supplying the constant voltage to the load 6 via a transformer 14.
