Abstract
PURPOSE: To fit a film integrally to the back surface of molded article easily and securely by a method wherein a tape formed film being fed is punched into a predetermined shaped, and the punched film is integrally fusion bonded to a predetermined position of a molded article completely by hot contact bonding.
CONSTITUTION: The tape formed film A is automatically fed into a groove 13 of a cavity 9 intermittently, while the preliminarily molded article B is fitted to a core jig 11. A platen 6 is heated to maintain a female mold 7 at 250W280°C, and the film A is punched by lowering the mold 7 through the function of a spring 6 suspended in the cavity 9 from the movable side by a restricting bolt 15. Simultaneously, an aluminum foil 2 costituting an intermediate layer of the film A is heated by the heat transmitted from the platen 6 to melt a hot-melt type adhesive at the back surface layer 3 of the film A so that the film A is fitted into a recess 4 of the molded article B and is contact bonded integrally to the molded body B.
