PURPOSE: To reduce anisotopy and obtain superior corrosion resistance and workability by rolling a steel contg. prescribed amts. of C, Mn, Nb and further S, Al, etc. at temps. above the Ar3 transformation point and coiling the same at below prescribed temps.
CONSTITUTION: The steel contg. 0.03W0.2% C, 0.3W2% Mn, 0.005W0.012% Nb, and further contg. ≤0.015% S, 0.005W0.1% Al, and ≥one kind of REM, Zr, Ca in the range of 1.3W5 REM/S, 2W10 Zr/S, and 0.5W1.5 Ca/S is produced. The slab produced by continous casting from this is rolled at above the Ar3 transformation point directly or after reheating, and is coiled at <500°C.
