Abstract

PURPOSE: To maintain performance of a buffer in good condition by pivotally mounting a spring holder of a coil spring, which is set in position, through low friction elements such as bearing and the like and by preventing generation of chipping powder which accompanies distortion when a spring is compressed.
CONSTITUTION: A spring holder 5 which stops winding end of a coil spring 1 is pivotally mounted through multiple low friction elements on the reverse side of a pressurized surface. A low friction element 6 consists of such elements of rolling friction function as bearing, roller, etc. The spring holder 5 which acts upon the low friction element 6 is set to rotate with the coil spring 1 by rolling friction with the low friction element 6, accompanying distortion when the coil spring 1 is distorted, and to diminish friction between the coil spring 1 and the spring holder 5.
