Abstract
PURPOSE:To automatically and rapidly ignite a gas by one-touch operation by a method in which a pizeo-electricity generating valve, etc., as an ignition means is provided inside an inner cylinder and a gas valve is only opened. CONSTITUTION:By the attracting action of the permanent magnet 41 of a receiving metal 40, a stator 28 and a piezo-electricity generating valve 31 are adsorbed and a through pathway 30 leading to a through pathway 18 from a high-pressure oxygen introducing hole 5 is changed from a closed state by the piezo-electricity generating valve 31 into a state that the valve of a gas burner is opened and a mixed gas is supplied. Then, when high-pressure oxygen is supplied, a pressure is applied on the receiving metal 40 of the piezo-electricity generating valve 31 and the end of a permanent magnet 41, whereupon the piezo electricity generating valve 31 moves forward, its contact metal 39 collides against the receiving projection 46 of a conductive cylinder 44, and a high voltage is produced in the piezo-electric element 38. Then, discharge takes place between the tip point A of the nozzle 23 and the inside circumferential point B of the tip opening 10 of the outer cylinder 9, whereby ignition to the mixed gas is made exactly and rapidly.
