Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the amount of underground water or the like being consumed in a public bathhouse, by employing a water-cooled, heat pump type hot-water supplying apparatus in which warm water left in bathtubs after closing of the bath- house and waste hot water of a water heater are carried to an evaporator of a water-cooled, double-condenser type chiller for exchanging heat with well water and the well water thus heated is stored in a heat accumulating tank.
CONSTITUTION: After closing a bathhouse, warm water left in bathtubs 4, 4' is transported under pressure to an evaporator 2 of a water-cooled, double-condenser type chiller 1 for heating well water transported to a first condenser 3a from a heat accumulating tank 9. On the other hand, when well water is supplied to the heat accumulating tank 9, well water in a water reserving tank 12 is supplied to the evaporator 2 for heating well water transported under pressure to the first condenser 3a from the tank 9. Further, while the bathhouse is open, hot water in a water heater 7 is transported under pressure to the evaporator 2 for accmulating heat in well water in the tank 9 transported under pressure to the first condenser 3a and releasing heat to water transported under pressure to a second condenser 3b from bathtubs 4, 4'. Thus, it is enabled to reduce the amount of underground water or the like consumed in a bathhouse.
