Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an air-flow-rate measuring sensor free of the influence of sticking dirt, by sticking the part, where a support comes into contact, of a resistance wire wound around the support, to a conductive material. CONSTITUTION:A temperature-dependent resistance wire 14 varying in resistance value with temperature is wound around an electric insulator support 19 of ceramics, synthetic resin, etc., while touching both its edge surfaces and folded there. Electrodes 20 are provided previously to the edge parts of the support 19 where the resistance wire 14 comes into contact, the resistance wire 14 is wound in contact with the electrodes 20 while floating over the surface of the support 19, and the contact parts are stuck with a conductive sticking material 21. The supoort wound with the resistance wire as mentioned above is fitted in parallel to air flow, and consequently even if dirt sticks to the contact parts, the contact parts are short-circuited with the sticking material, so that the heat reception and radiation of the resistance wire are stable without reference to sticking dirt.
