Abstract

PURPOSE:To meter the quantity of blending accurately by discriminating the properiety of metering by performing the rough metering and fine metering of a material to be metered under the control of an analog comparator, and by transferring the control to a microcomputer on the completion of the metering. CONSTITUTION:When a blending number and the start of operation are commanded on a console panel 24, values of rough metering and fine metering in a file 13a are set and then converted by a D/A converter 15 into analog signals, which are inputted to an analog comparator (ACP)17. Simultaneously, a gate 2 is opened to supply a material to a metering hopper 5, and the sum of metered values by load cells 6 is outputted from an adder 7 and compared by the ACP17; when it is coincident with the set value, the gate 2 is closed through a gate circuit 22 to finish the rough metering. Then, a microcomputer (CPU)11 confirms fault through an A/D converter 19, and under the control of the ACP17, fine metering is performed following the same procedure. The CPU checks the occurrence of a fault again and the fault, if found, is displayed on a CRT26 to leave its judgement to an operator. Thus, blending operation is rationalized.
