Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the setting of particles and to diffuse Joule heat an also, to measure the concentration of dilute particle, by revolfing a migration cell and optically detecting the concentration of particle. CONSTITUTION:A migration cell is composed of a large cell 3 and a small cell 8 formed the whole body or a part of it by a transparent body. A suspension liquid or emulsion liquid of sample is put in said cell and the transmittance is measured by transmitting a light in the cell 8 shutting a shutter 5 and operating a driving motor 1 and then, rotating the migration cell. Next, migration particles are moved from the cell 3 to the cell 8 by opening the shutter 5 and applying a potential difference between electrodes 4 from a power source 9. The transmittance is read by a transmittance meter 10 and also, is recorded on a recorder 11.
