Abstract
PURPOSE:To investigate a high-resistance accident even in a section where a commercial frequency current flows while eliminating the need for calibrating operation, by providing a receiver with a DC drift compensating function, and a malfunction eliminating function of compensating malfunction due to the commercial frequency current. CONSTITUTION:The initial point of a signal arriving from an antenna 5 through an amplifier 8 is detected by a gate signal generator 13 to generate a successive gate opening signal. The 1st gate 9 is opened firstly at a reception point for a time which is an integer multiple of the perior of a commercial frequency and longer than the pulse width of a high-voltage pulse to pass the signal, which is then passed through a subtractor 15 having a function of subtracting the 2nd gate output from the 1st gate output to be integrated by an integrator 10. Then, the 2nd gate and 1st gate are opened for the same period, and the otput of the amplifier 8 is inverted in polarity by a subtractor 15 and then integrated. Lastly, a detection display gate 11 is opened for a time shorter than the period of high-voltage pulse appliecation to display the contents of the integrator 10 on a detection meter 12. Thus, DC drift, temperature drift and malfunction due to the commercial frequency are eliminated.
