Abstract

PURPOSE:To select automatic focusing modes by attaching and detaching a battery case by providing the batter case of an automatic focusing device detachably to an interchangeable case and by turning on and off a switch by attaching and detaching the battery case. CONSTITUTION:A battery case 10 is stored at the case storage part of a lens barrel, and the case 21 of a switch SW4 is fitted in the recess part 10c of the case 10. The contacts S4-a and S4-b of the switch meet the conduction part of the recess part 10c to change a distance measuring circuit system over a servo-operation system. Further, a lock pawl 31 engage with the engagement hole 10e of the battery case 10 to lock the battery case. To detach the battery case 10, the other terminal 30a of the lock pawl is pushed against a spring 31, and consequently the case 10 is unclocked, thereby dtaching the case 10. Thus, focusing modes are switched selectively by attaching and detaching the battery case 10.
