The original 32 is conveyed on the glass 1 with a single belt 24, and at that time a positioning claw 29 is lifted and the end of the original 32 comes into contact with the claw 29 to complete its positioning. A contact area between the belt 24 and the glass 1 is increased and uniformized by causing a flexible press roller 31 to come into face contact with the glass 1 by the medium of the belt 24, thus permitting lift of the end of the original 32 to be suppressed when the claw 29 is lifted, and correction of skew of the original 32 to be ensured.
