Abstract
PURPOSE: In a Rankine cycle engine operating with a low temperature working medium of a solvent steam, to mix it with an original solution by use of a penetration pressure created at a semi-permeable membrane after the solvent steam whose pressure and temperature are reduced in an expander is condensed.
CONSTITUTION: A burning gas or an exhaust gas heats working fluids in evaporator pipes 1C and an overheater 2 to generate a steam, which runs an expander 4 to drive a generator 5. The steam of a solvent decreased in pressure and temperature in the expander 4 is condensed by a condenser 6 and gravitates in a lower part 7b of a semi-permeable membrane chamber 7. The resultant condensed solvent, which is sufficiently diluted with less or no solute contained in it in comparison with the original solution, is mixed with it to heap up after passing through a semi-permeable membrane 7a, thereby eliminating the need for a pump sucking the condensed working medium into an evaporator.
