Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A voice command to be input into a microphone 1 is compared to stored various voice patterns of personnel giving voice command with a voice recognition unit 2, which transmits a recognition signal corresponding to the voice command into a computer 3. The computer 3 processes the recognition signal and turns it into an action signal which operates a main engine's steering unit 5 through a remote steering unit in a similar way like manual handling. The revolution of the main engine 6 is detected by a revolution counter 7. Completion of control is reported by a speaker 8 through the computer 3 and the voice recognition unit 2.
