Abstract
PURPOSE:To adequately perform tests for all size of equipment types with a single unit of tester by reducing and controlling supply pressure in conformance to the equipment tested, and making fine adjustment of flow rate is accordance with the supply pressure. CONSTITUTION:A fuel temperature control mechanism 1 consits of an automatic oil temperature controller 2 and a heat exchanger 5, etc., and controls temperature of fuel in a fuel tank 6 to a designated temperature. A fuel pressure control mechanism 10 consists of reduction valves 11H, 11M and 11L, each assigned a different control pressure, and an oil header 13 which controls pressure to a constant and also removes bubbles, and receives fuel from the tank 6. While fuel is supplied to the equipment being tested (a) through flow meters 25H, 25L, its supply pressure is monitored by pressure detectors 22DL, 22PM, 22DH, and each reduction valve 12 and flow meter 25 are controlled by means of a control circuit 36. The flow rate of fuel from the equipment tested (a) is measured by a flow measuring device 28 consisting of a vacuum pump 30 and a sonic nozzle 29.
